The Set-Up Team and Truck Team are vital to making our Sunday mornings happen! These teams work together to transform our building, a Jr. High School, into a place of worship. Each team is divided into small groups of 2-3. With enough volunteers, each small group would serve every 4-5 weeks.
The Truck Team arrives with the trailer at Rose Hill Jr. High at 7:45 a.m. after placing the signs. Upon arrival they unload the carts, tables, sound gear, platforms & podiums from the trailer delivering each item to it's designated area. Assisting the Set-Up Team with a break for coffee and fellowship before services are all part of their morning ritual. After services, they are responsible for reloading the trailer, picking up the signs and getting the trailer back to the church office.
The Set-Up Team is ready by 8:00 a.m. to begin unloading the carts, setting up classrooms, the nursery, stage, banners and the information, kid's registration & welcome tables. They are responsible for making sure each of these areas is ready for the morning's activties. A time to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and fellowship before services is a nice little perk that has helped keep some on this team for years! Repacking the carts and helping get things back to the truck complete their morning tasks.
Additional volunteers are needed for an ideal rotation schedule.
