  ECF Kids

At ECF we cherish our kids and strive to teach lessons that will help children let their lights shine for Jesus everyday.  Our “ROCK SOLID” curriculum has a 3 year scope and sequence that will take us all the way through the Bible.

Rock Solid is a comprehensive overview of the Bible for preschoolers through older elementary children, covering the major stories of the Bible over three years. Each week, the children encounter a Bible story, helping them to understand the Scripture and apply it to their daily lives.

As we grow and add more children to our program, we realize that we do not have a situation where 'everyone knows everyone' anymore.  This is both exciting as well as new territory.  Our staff and volunteers have the children’s safety as a top priority at all times.  All volunteers for any children’s activity must complete a WSP background check prior to participating.  We also have implemented a check in and out procedure for sending kids to Bible class to be sure only the correct people take children at the end of the morning.

We strongly believe that Christian parents are ultimately responsible for their child's faith journey.  We have designed the Children's Ministry to enhance and hopefully support what is being taught and modeled in the home and hope you will ask your child to share what they have learned each week.

Bible Memorization:

One way we hope to encourage continued Bible training during the week is through our Bible Memorization Program.  All children Kindergarten through 6th grade are eligible to participate.  Each grade level has a list of 30 memory verses to learn during the school year; 1 verse each week with reviews every 6 weeks.  We end the year with a celebration and honoring of their hard work and acknowledge their efforts with banners, plaques and trophies during our “Bible Memorization Sunday” in June. Click here for more details

Events include:

  • Parents' Night Out
  • Family trips to local activities like Evergreen Speedway, AquaSox Games, Water Park, Rollerskating etc.
  • Movie Nights
  • Christmas Musical
  • Vacation Bible School
